have applied for L1 to H1 change of status, then you are already on H1, does not matter if H1 starts in Oct2008. If its COS then you should start working for new employer asap.

thanks for your reply. now EB3 Priority dates are gone back to 2001. say there is no visa numbers available after the 485 applications processed which are submitted in july and aug 2007. then waht they do? they have to keep the processed applications aside untill the visa numbers available right? so at that time which one become priority is Labour filing date or 485 RD?

But I guess I'm still hung up on the "suggestion" (not rule, I suppose) to have more space in the direction the subject is heading or looking than to the rear of him/her/it - especially also not to center the subject. So, I'd still crop it the same, but I should have indicated better what I was thinking (not a tight crop, which is probably what it sounded like I meant).

There is no need for you to have H-1B status if you are working in India. If you are not working in the US, you are not in any status and don't need any. You could return to the US in visitor status provided that you were not working here in the US. If you can explain to the consulate that you really intend just a short visit, even though you have permanent residence filed, you should get the B visa.
I'm assuming that you are from India and therefore don't need any visa to work in India.

If you/any others help me point to someone who can help me with IRS implications, that would be great. I don't expect this to be simple, thus my effort to do it the right way. The last thing I would want after spending 10 years here is to break the law.
My company and I will consult before signing on the dotted line. This is just ground work and thanks for all who take the time to answer these questions.

I find that fireworks mx is really cool for doing what you are trying to do if you can get your hands on it. Oh yeah and I think you should antialias the text a little bit. If you want honest opinions....I think the image could use a little jazzing up....Try this:
Find a nice big panoramic image like of a beach or something.. Then give it a real big gaussian blur (so that you cannt recoginze what it was)......U should already notice it looks similar to a gradient. 2. The give it a strong motion blur to the left or right (to soften the image) 3. Then do a an adjustment...hue.....and play with the saturation and settings. (You should have a pretty nice gradient looking abstract at this point). 4. Then duplicate the layer and play with that layers blend mode. I find luminosity to be cool but find one to suit your needs. That will make your text and image seem more interesting....right now it looks kinda dead in the water......I find gradients by themselves to be boring this day in age (most of the time). Let me know if you need a more indepth tutorial....this one was kinda weak but....hey

Our company guy said, there is some new policy in 485 processing which is causing them to gather lot of other information (I havent seen this policy published anywhere..so thought this guy is bluffing)..but I dont know many ppl have been saying about such RFEs or RFEs which were not raised before are more common now.
Look at my other thread as an example.
Hopefully you resolve it fast

i dont see any of the above said...:o..how lond does it take for us to receive rn in hand after the checks are cashed...I am starting to worry now.If everybody can see the rn why icant i!:o...The uscis cs is not telling the status...Is there a possiblity of appl rejection even after the checks are cleared.:confused::confused:

I wonder if MSNBC, CNN, FOX ever covered any of legal immigrants stand against the present immigration mess. I don't see any news about the flower campaign, about visa bulletin fiasco, or even the rallies that we have been doing? The fight has been very strong and unity is finally in place.
Am I missing something here? Most of us sent so many mails to these bigwigs and nobody showed our news and plight on their news?

Hi Folks, I have a question about traveling to India...
Want to travel from US to Indore, India. As I need to change planes either Mumbai or Delhi, how does it work?
1. I came to know that in Mumbai, it is just change of terminals, not airports. Am I right?
In Mumbai, you need to go from the international part to the domestic part. They are pretty close. Usually the airline will arrange buses to take all the passengers to the domestic part. However, you need to collect your luggage and clear customs and immigration before that.
2. How about Delhi? Once I arrive at International airport in Delhi, to catch a domestic flight to Indore, is it change of airports or just change of terminals? Is there a shuttle provided?

When I filed my AOS application I was in CA and still I am working in CA, I never worked / lived in MIAMI,FL.
If they have to transfer my case they would have transfered to some CA local office not to MIAMI,FL local office..

Don't worry. You will mostly get RFE but not a rejection.
My original 140 got denied as per USCIS web site but lawyer didn't get the denial notice even after 60 days. Lawyer followed it up but no response from the USCIS.
I filed 485/AP/EAD and got approvals for EAD. Lawyer refiled 140 without original labor and is almost certain that they will raise an RFE but not denial.
